Target Wins Best of Show at ICE

Around here, we’ve been known to attract a lot of ice.

Target was the top winner at 2018 ICE Awards last night in Halifax, taking home an outstanding 21 awards, including the prestigious Best of Show.

ICE is Atlantic Canada’s premiere creative advertising awards show, judged by a national jury of Canada’s top creative professionals from outside the region. When awarding Best of Show honours, judges often consider the calibre of work required to represent Canada at some of the world’s best advertising shows, such as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

“We’re so fortunate and proud to live here in Newfoundland and Labrador, the most creative place on the planet,” said Catherine Kelly, Target’s Director of Account Management. “We are also fortunate to have wonderful client partners who, like us, believe that ‘Creativity is a powerful business tool’.”

Target was awarded Best of Show and Gold for Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism’s ‘Sound’ Integrated Campaign. The campaign also won Gold for Communication Strategy, TV/Cinema Campaign, TV/Cinema Single, Digital Display Single, Print Campaign, and Print Single.

Target’s work continues to be recognized at top national and international awards show. Our Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism work has been regarded as one of the most successful tourism campaigns in the country, receiving over 300 awards since launching ‘Find Yourself’ in 2006.
