St. John’s agency breaks records at the 2019 ICE Creative Awards
Target cleaned up at the 2019 ICE Awards in Halifax, winning a record-breaking 34 Gold, Silver, and other creative awards for best website, mobile apps, social media, TV/cinema, print/outdoor, copywriting, art direction, and fully integrated campaigns.
The agency also took home the Best In Show award. This is the third year in a row Target’s creative work has been named Best In Show.
ICE is Atlantic Canada’s only creative advertising awards show, judged by a national jury of Canada’s top creative directors from outside Atlantic Canada.
The agency’s work for longtime Agency-of-Record client, Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism, was awarded 5 prestigious Craft Awards, 5 Gold, and 4 Silver in categories such as copywriting, print campaign, social media, art direction,TV/cinema, fully integrated campaign, and best website.
Target’s strategic and creative work for Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism is the most awarded and most successful tourism campaigns in North America, receiving over 350 awards since ‘Find Yourself’ launched in 2006.
Target’s work for the City of Mount Pearl also won big in Halifax for The Mount Pearl Anthem, including awards for digital long form single, craft videography / direction, craft music / sound design, and Fearless Client, an award that celebrates clients who aren’t afraid to push boundaries.
Target’s creative and strategic work continues to be recognized at top national and international award shows, and the 2019 ICE Awards was no exception. The St. John’s agency broke its own previous record for number of ICE creative awards won. Earlier this year, Target was named one of the countries Top 15 Creative Agencies by industry bible Strategy Magazine.
